Carbon Window Tint
Material Composition: Made from carbon particles, offering a non-reflective, matte finish.
Heat Rejection: Provides moderate heat rejection, generally better than dyed films but not as effective as ceramic options.
UV Protection: Blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays.
Signal Interference: Does not interfere with electronic signals, making it suitable for vehicles with GPS, Bluetooth, and satellite radio.
Fade Resistance: More resistant to fading over time compared to dyed films, but can still degrade in extreme conditions.
Cost: Generally more affordable than nano ceramic tint.
Nano Ceramic Window Tint
Material Composition: Made from advanced ceramic particles, offering a clear, high-tech finish.
Heat Rejection: Exceptional heat rejection properties, often the best among window tints, thanks to its ability to reflect infrared light.
UV Protection: Also blocks up to 99% of UV rays, providing excellent skin protection.
Signal Interference: Similar to carbon tint, it doesn’t interfere with electronic signals.
Durability: Highly durable and scratch-resistant, with excellent fade resistance even in harsh conditions.
Cost: Generally more expensive due to advanced technology and performance benefits.
Windshield Tint in Colorado Springs

Visible Light Transmission (VLT): The front windshield must have at least 70% VLT, meaning that at least 70% of the light must be allowed to pass through the glass.
Tinting Restrictions: The use of any tint on the windshield is generally restricted to the top 4 inches (the visor strip), which can be tinted to any darkness.
Medical Exemptions: Individuals with specific medical conditions may apply for a waiver that allows for darker tints, but police may require proper documentation.

HAND CUT VS COMPUTER CUT WINDOW TINT
Hand Cut vs Computer Cut Window Tint. This is the age-old battle of Old School vs New School in the Window Tint world.
Above is a picture of a Custom Hand Cut Window Tint Pattern, not even a trained eye can tell the difference between a good Hand Cut pattern and a Computer Cut pattern.
So why all the fuss between Hand Cut and Computer Cut? Mainly marketing and skill level, using a plotter and cut software to cut templates is a very easy way to learn how to window tint, but creates many drawbacks for the customer and potentially the installer, here are the main three reasons that Computer Cuts are not what they seem.
- Computer Cut patterns vary from software to software, some software has more accurate patterns than others and because of this your top edge cut may not line up with the top edge of your window and the sides may be short.
- Computer cutting does not take into account that your windows may not be OEM or Original, meaning you may have had a window replaced at some point and not even be aware of it, the aftermarket windows are not the exact same shape and size of the original, they’re close but not exact and this can also create inconsistencies in your top edge and side cuts
- Older models and imported vehicles will not be in the computers cut software and many shops will send you away, we won’t!
